Sam Weber
Guest Illustrator

Sam Weber has always lived somewhere cold. Born in Alaska and grown up in Deep River Ontario, Canada, Sam no doubt spent many hours indoors at a young age drawing and painting while the other boys living at more geographically convenient climates were outside, playing football or shooting squirrels. That's why he draws better than most anybody else. Either that, or he's a robot.

So anyway. After attending the Alberta College of Art and Design in Calgary, Sam moved to New York to pursue illustration and attend graduate school at The School of Visual Arts. In addition to drawing, Sam works part-time as assistant art director of the OpEd page at the New York Times, with senior art director Brian Rea. His clients include: The New Yorker, The New York Times, The L.A. Times, ESPN Magazine, Penguin, SPIN, Flaunt, Men's Health, The Boston Globe, The CBC, Stocks and Commodities, Cosmo Girl, Play Girl & The Village Voice. He currently resides in Brooklyn with his (also super-talented) wife Jillian.
