David Sandlin
David Sandlin was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland. He is a painter and illustrator whose first cartoon book was Land of a Thousand Beers in 1988. He attended BFA University of Alabama, Birmingham, AL in 1979. His comics have appeared in anthologies like: RAW (1990), Gin & Comix (1990), Snake Eyes (1991), Zero Zero (1995) and Legal Action (2001). He regularly shows his work at galleries worldwide. David has been on faculty for the past 21 years at the School of Visual Arts, where he is an instructor in printmaking and the thesis coordinator for the masters program in illustration. He lives in New York City. |
