You had better keep your girlfriends away from Reuben Negron. To paraphrase the once-great rock band Weezer: he's a heart-breaker and a life-taker. Ladies, you've been warned. Reuben Negron is as dangerous with a brush as he is with fragile hearts. A maverick with watercolor rendering, Reuben painstakingly and lavishly renders his subjects (who are, quite often, very beautiful women) with subtlety and grace. He's had work exhibited all over, from PaperVeins 2000 Biennial to such reputable contemporary art galleries as Anina Nosei and Spike Gallery.
