C.M. Butzer
Chris Butzer is the kind of guy who can answer nine out of every ten history-based questions per episode of Jeopardy. He considers Alex Trebec an arrogant hack. His love of the classical took him all the way to Florence in the winter of 1997, where he truly honed his rendering chops at a studio for didactic children's illustration. Hailing from the backwoods of Portland, Oregon, Chris now resides in Green Point, Brooklyn with his awesome girlfriend Margary. Having recently completed his MFA at School of Visual Arts' Illustration program, he looks forward to combining both his love of history and comics narrative into a graphic novel, detailing the life of the Civil War-era abolitionist, John Brown.
